Hi Everyone.
Thank you for reading the post... Much appreciated
I applied for Long Term Visit Pass on 9 Sep 2018 (My wife is singapore Citizen) and I recieve this message.
"Your Visit Pass (short term) which is issued on 04/09/2018 and valid till 04/10/2018 has been extended on the same condition to 24/10/2018 under Regulation 12(6) of Immigration Regulations.
Your Application for Visit Pass (long term) is receiving attention."
when they renew my Short Term Pass they also issue me the FIN number.
My question is how much time ICA takes to approve LTVP without having done the Pre-Marriage Long-Term Visit Pass Assessment. I think its 4-6 weeks?
Your help is much appreciated

The same length of time as the length of a piece of string. It may be close but will probably make it. But you might be sweating beads the size of the pearls in bubble tea before you get it.

You need to wait longer as you did not have the Preassessment for LTVP

How much longer?
There are two employers waiting for the approval to issue LOC.

Nobody knows. How easy is it to check out your history of employment and education? Or your family? Could be fast, could be slow... depends entirely on how long it takes them to get the information they want.

Or else how can you stay in SG? thats why they have extended your SVP so that you can still stay in SG while waiting for the LTVP outcome?

Yea that I understand but why for a month? means that they will give the results within this period or they will extend more?

You are trying to derive too much information from the 1 month that they have given you
chances are
- you might get the result within 1 month
- may be 1 month is their standard and if needed will extend more?
Why are you so desperate? Why not wait for them to process it in their normal time.
If you are really desperate you should have had the pre-approval before marriage. ICA has clearly suggested this route to avoid waiting time. You didnt follow that and now looking to rush? It doesn't work that way

Thank you for the quick reply
Brother, I am Desperate because 2 employers are waiting for the approval to issue LOC and I dont want to lose that opportunity.
One more question. If I exit Singapore will this effect my LTVP? and how can gain entry to SG for the collection of card?

Won't affect I think. You can get another normal 30 days Visit Pass on entry?

Does anyone have recent experience on how long DP/LTVP(parents) is taking? Thanks.

You can walk in, just go very early and queue. Even if it’s unsuccessful, it’s worth a try.
Does the sponsor have to be there I assume?
I think...
