Frequent Visits to Singapore

Post by mojo_jojo » Sat, 25 Aug 2018 12:22 am

Hi, everybody!

I'd like to ask your opinion about my situation.

My husband works in Singapore, but unfortunately, he doesn't qualify for sponsoring a dependent visa for me.

I am a Philippine passport holder, so I can stay up to 30 days in Singapore on a tourist visa. I am a freelancer so my job is mostly online. I pay taxes in the Philippines.

My most recent trips to Singapore are:
August 2017 (2 weeks)
May 2017 (1 month)

I am planning to go to Singapore in October and in November for 2 sports events that we're joining. Each time, I plan to stay for stay for 30 days to maximize the opportunity, since airfare is expensive.

Do you think there will be a problem at the Immigration? Since basically, I will be staying for 30 days in Singapore, with only one week interval between the two trips?

Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks!

You could consider applying for a visa before hand. Otherwise there is a small risk of being turned around on the second visit. Having hotel bookings, sports event bookings etc all in hand when you enter Singapore will help for sure.
