Should I take up the offer?

Post by newkid » Mon, 28 Feb 2005 4:09 pm

Hi All,

I'm from Kl, 26. Have been working here as an IT prof for around 2yrs +. Recently got an offer from a Singapore company, but i think the pay's a bit low. Around SGD 2500 a month, with no benefits except medical. Do you think I should take up the offer? I'm getting around the same thing here, except it's in MYR.

It's bit on the low side, but I think 2500 SGD goes further in Singapore than 2500 MYR in Malaysia... as long as you don't drive. I would probably go for it but try to bargain for a bit more, given that you already have some work experience.
