Jobs for Spanish, Portuguese and English speaking Latin

Post by CM6359 » Thu, 16 Aug 2018 9:48 am

Hi, just checking to see if there is any job opportunities for me here in Singapore.

I'm a Latin from Venezuela currently living in the US but thinking of moving to Singapore.

Proficient in HR but willing to try something else that's not my specialisation.

Cheers.

The short answer is, "no", there is no job opportunity for you in Singapore. HR jobs are something that the government wishes to reserve for local citizens and PR's. You have no experience in the recruiting environment in southeast Asia. The only way you _might_ be able to get to Singapore would be to work for a multi-national and get transferred, but even that is unlikely because... why hire a foreigner when they can hire a local to do the job and keep the government happy?

As for trying "something else", your chances are at zero... you will not get a work permit for something in which you have no experience.

That is the reality of life.
