Applying PR for the 4th time

Post by Wd40 » Mon, 30 Jul 2018 5:28 pm

Hi guys,

So I have been here since 9 years now and many of the old timers know me. Indian working in banking IT, wife and a daughter. Not much career progress but my job is stable. My IRAS annual income is 110k, fixed salary is 100K.

Rejected 3 times already, 1 appeal rejected too. Last rejection was 2 years ago. I am wondering whether it is worth applying, I will lose $300, no big deal. But how are the chances? Now with fewer people applying?

I think you should keep swinging at it. My impression is the gates are opening again. The touted 6MM pop'n by GE2020 is not far off. If the opposition frighten the PAP again the gates will slam shut. They got a sympathy vote from LKY's death last time but your average Sinkie is really pissed off now.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Thanks. I have been applying at the rate of once every two years, so I guess, I will just continue at the same rate. Apply this year. If I don't get try again in 2020.
