Hi all,
My first EP application has been rejected.
The company has submitted an appeal following the instructions/advisory from MOM.
Has anyone experienced this lately? How long is the processing time for an appeal these days?
Thanks a lot!

What has changed? If they didn't already check the S-Pass option, then cannot appeal for an S-Pass. If they are not increasing your salary, then an appeal is unlikely. If they did increase your salary, then MoM will want to be very sure this isn't a common scam... pretending to pay more but not really doing so.
What has changed?

Normally it will take up to 3 weeks for appeal case, company can only call in for expedite after 3 weeks. FYI

Again, what has changed that would make your appeal successful? I doubt that appealing by saying, "Hey! I didn't like being rejected last time, please change," will do the trick.

Has anyone heard of a mistake on the type of designation chosen? Well MOM rejected it as either not qualified/ salary too low ..the agency wrongly chose a different designation since the actual one was not displayed on EPOL.
The one they chose, while it sounds close, is a complete different job requiring different sort of qualifications and higher pay. Can they appeal to amend this?

They can, but no guarantee that it will be approved.

Okay..but will MOM deem it suspicious...althout the JD is actually relevant to the amended designation..just that the designation they chose is so different from what the actual role is.. the reason given, the agency staff could not find the exact role and chose the one closest in terms of what appeared...it's like a doctor of philosophy just stating he or she is a doctor (medical doctor) when the roles for both differs..

You can walk in, just go very early and queue. Even if it’s unsuccessful, it’s worth a try.
Does the sponsor have to be there I assume?
I think...
