If you try to use a hyphen, parenthesis, equal sign, or any other of the non-alphanumeric characters on the keyboard, then you will get that message. Lot's of on-line databases are set up that way. (the on-line will not go. must use on line without the hyphen, etc. Only commas & full stops.

Hello all,
I am also facing the same issue "Invalid format, please enter in alphanumeric with single spacing." while entering the Job Description and Responsibilities, please advise how to resolve this.

Thanks,
Nikhil

I just figured it out now. Even period and commas are not accepted. Only alpha-numeric and single space will be accepted. Please try it out.

doG had nothing to do with it. Following the direction literally is all you had to do. As we've been sayin' on here for years, don't try to read between the lines. The forms were designed for N level holders to be able to fill out. When it says no alpha-numeric what does it mean? :-k #-o

You need to remove even the full stop.

'litterally'? 'No'? 'letters, number)'? 'didt'? Maybe check your spelling, punctuation & spacing?
