Hi, any advise on COE loan, I am looking to renew my COE next month. Can I know 5yr or 10yr COE renewal is better? Where can I get loan from? Interest rate how much? maximum loan repayment is how long and any cash upfront needed? My current car is 1.598CC and registered date is 20 Aug 2008.

Yes I am. 220,000 km and still going strong. I had to replace the head gaskets at around 190,000 km as the plastic radiator tanks burst but apart from that it's fine. Uses a lot of fuel so I tend to use my motorbike much more. It's 13.5 years old now and has about $35,000 in COE value left. A lot of Singaporeans are surprised when I point out the depreciation on it is ~$500 / month (a new car is > $1000 usually).
