EP criterias

Post by iaannuk » Thu, 28 Jun 2018 7:21 pm

Hi Team,

Can people with an experience in getting/rejected EP help me understand the criterias as well as timings?

I have been offered a job in Singapore and the EP assessment tells me I am likely to be accepted but the HR also tells me it is very difficult to get an EP those days and do not get my hopes too high.. hence my confusion.

European..
Salary: SGD 15000/Month
Experience: 15 years
Job: Media Business Director
Education: French High School Diploma

The EP form has been sent 3 weeks ago and HR has received only today a note from MOM saying that my diploma doesn't say if I passed or not.. oO So I am sending a certificate of achievement today..

Insights much appreciated.

EP at your salary level shouldn't be an issue, unless MOM suspects all is not right with your application. Or your company has flouted the rules in the past.

HR depts have a poor reputation for competence here, that could be a factor.

Well, I have not been impressed so far.. lack of updates, always on holiday or OOO, had to do half the work myself..

MON came back yesterday saying they can't proceed with the EP because my Education Certificate and Transctipt does not say I been "conferred" the degree. I'm a bit speechless... !
So I have just sent back a certified Certificate to certify the previous certificate. HR told me MOM does that very often and that EP are not easy to get..
