Hi all.
My S pass is expired on next week currenly the renewing still under Pending. My PR fomalities appointment is on 20 JuL 2018. Can i use my temporary permit instead of my S pass?
As im confuse i dont know what to do now.

Anyway you still have one month social visa when your S-pass expired and should be enough for you to do your PR formalities on 20Jul.

Unless you can get a temporary extension (which might require a trip down to MOM), you will be in a position where you technically cannot work until it is renewed.

I see. Assuming after i surrender my s pass after i get the extendion. I can use that exetnsion to complete my pr formalities?

I'm not sure if you will surrender the S pass if you get the extension. You may, and if so, yes, the extension should be sufficient for any PR formalities providing it also hasn't expired.

you cannot apply PR with social pass. You need to show valid work permit to ICA.
If you cancel your S-Pass during PR Application, your PR application will be canceled automatically by ICA.

Just a word to the wise. No job if finished until the paperwork is done. They still retain the option to reject until your name is on the dotted line. Never assume. Especially with the Sg Gahment.
