I have a suggestion: The "Chinese Druggists Association" on Thywitt Road. A little small maybe but 28 beers on tap and definitely quieter than the CBD. A shortish walk from Kallang MRT.

TAP - Robertson Quay or Capitol Theatre (next to City Hall MRT.) as noted - $10 pints
The "Chinese Druggists Association" on Thywitt Road (shortísh walk from Kallang MRT) drinks on the high side according to reviews.

Just a point to note: Tyrwhitt Road is actually close to Lavender MRT not Kallang.

Tap does have the Football on - I follow them on Facebook but I am happy with any of the locations.

Tap has $10 nett pints which I recall is cheaper than BeerFest
I know nothing of Chinese Druggists in any context

I'll follow Lynx's lead and vote even though I can't attend. TAP - only one of the options I've tried and it's pretty good.

Some of those beers are pretty strong so careful what you order.

I'm good with TAP at Capitol too. And bgd is right: Coronado Guava Islander is delicious and usually on tap (TAP regularly alternates its beers on tap) and is 7% alcohol. It'll put you on your backside pretty fast if you're not careful!
