will try again on Monday.
We'll try calling again today. I'll keep you posted.
We were told that it should come out this week, as in 3-5 days.

Hi Guys,
I’ve applied for my PEP on May 9th 2020.
The status shows pending still which is the 4th week.
The recent postings show they have been taking almost 8 weeks or more. Does anyone know if there is a way to expedite it or calling the MOM hotline really makes a difference?
Recently moved into Singapore. So kinda perfect stranger to the city! Looking for a move to move in between Aug 25th - Sep 1st.

Ah yes you're right. Mine doesn't have an application # either. My 8 week mark is this Sunday. Let me know if yours does come through in the 3-5 days. By the way, which number did you call? I've been told i shouldn't call until after 8 weeks, so I'll do that Monday next week.

@LuluLily please keep me updated on yours as well - I applied a few days after you (April 12th). The application number seems to be on the top right when you check the status.
It's still pending as of today, tomorrow is the 8th-week mark. And no, that's not the application number on the top right. It should be written below the name of the applicant. The application number is still left blank in our case.

How's your application doing?

When you call before the 8th week mark, they will just tell you to call when it's the 8th week already. So there's no point calling before the time that they have indicated (based on experience). So yes, I suggest you call on Monday if it hasn't been approved by then.

And today is the 4th day of the 3-5 days waiting time and it's still pending. Hopefully tomorrow we will have good news since tomorrow it'll be the 9th week since application.

This is the number we usually call: 6438 5122
I just found it on their website.

No point calling before the 8th week. They will just ask you to call again by the 8th week if it hasn't still been approved by then. Since they have a lot of backlogs. We applied a month before you did and ours still hasn't been approved.

Did you manage to speak to anyone (I'm assuming you tried calling again) ?

So, your application is in the 9th week now and still no result ?
Also do you see the application number at all in the later stages or it forever remains being not shown ?

yes 9th week today, and no still no application number (I think you only get that when approved or rejected).

just keep in mind that the call agent can't do more then look up (in the same system as you) and after the 9th week expedite to a case agent.

Just curious, does anyone know of rejections or the rate of rejections in case of PEP?
I’m assuming it should be pretty straight forward as long nothing exceptionally stands out negatively, right ?

If you're on an EP and meet the 144k salary requirement, my understanding is it should be a formality. FYI I just tried to call (past 8 weeks now) and they have very high call volumes so was unable to get through. Will try again later.
