What are the current processing times in general for PEP applications ? I know MOM says its 8 weeks. but is there anyone getting it earlier or or most of the people are taking much longer than expected ?
it'll be great help in planning better if I need to wait for 12-16 weeks like many people have mentioned earlier.

The best answer is "how long is a piece of string?"

It took almost 8 weeks for me. Applied end August and received IPA last week. Based on the update in MOM website , i assume the approval is for the older income regime (application date < 01-Sep) - no info on the IPA.

Thanks @esskay . I applied in mid september after the new income regime. So, I presume nothing will happen before mid november. fingers crossed it doesn't take longer than that.

Resurrecting a bit of an old thread...
I'm in talks with my current employer to move to Singapore - I'd prefer to apply for a PEP (I meet the criteria) even they could offer EP as that would give me more flexibility on the job market once there.
Planning to move end of June - I was thinking of applying for PEP early November. There might be a small chance of getting an IPA before year end - in that case, would I be able to extend the IPA validity to enter the country when I'm supposed to move or would I have to come over just to get the pass even before the actual move?
Thanks!
