PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
Update - got my PEP approval at 1AM at night of June 5th, I did call at the end of the day of June 4th and got second case number and second expedite request.
Review took exactly full 11 weeks and few extra hours.
I am guessing I will need to notify ICA about change of employer and change of pass in regards to my pending PR application. But I will call them first and ask if there is a need for that.

Policy may have been changed!
Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
Hello. I'm waiting for my PEP (10 weeks so far), and planning to make the call as many above suggested. Sorry if I missed this, but what number is best to call? Enquiries, workright hotline, etc.? Thanks in advance!
Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
Update on my end:
On 30 July it will be 12 weeks since I applied. After calling on week 9 and receiving my first case escalation (and my first case reference number), I called again this morning and am now getting my second escalation (and received a new case reference number).
Must be some serious backlog in the system for an almost 4 week delay...

Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
I will be at 13 weeks on 30 July, with 2 escalations. So definitely a backlog.
And this week, I'm eligible to apply for EP because I have a new Singapore employer. MOM told me it would take 3 weeks to withdraw the PEP, and then 3 weeks for the EP. Should I do this? Or is it anyday now for the PEP?

Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
Same situation. 9 weeks today and I got a new employer.. I was considering to withdraw the PEP and apply for a regular EP. But 3 weeks is too long. I will just wait.
Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
Finally got my approval on Thursday the 29th, exactly 12 weeks after applying. Called in the morning, was told it’ll be escalated again, and 15 minutes later it was approved.
Good luck folks!

Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
Hi,
I’ve been reading this forum while waiting for my PEP to be approved and now want to add my data point: it took 6.5 weeks for MOM to approve my application:
Applied: 18 June 2021
Approved: 5 August 2021
Didn’t call MOM, didn’t expedite, it just came through.

Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
I applied for PEP on Aug 31, still waiting for outcome. I have a new employer who can apply for my EP, but withdrawing PEP would take 3 weeks, and really confused if I shall continue waiting for PEP or withdraw and apply for EP instead.
Anyone got recent approvals, what was the timeline for you overall?

Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
I called around 5th week, was told to wait till 8th week and call after that. I don't think that call would have affected the timeline.
Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
For me it took 5 weeks. Logged onto https://eponline.mom.gov.sg/epol/PEPOLE ... tAction.do circa 17.30 to check status which said pending. 90 minutes later received the approval email.
Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
I waited 16weeks… Since I still have my EP. so i didn’t think of calling mom to check until i saw this thread. then I got approval one day after I called them. just feel a bit amuse.
