Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
Hi , Any latest updates on PEP processing times. I had applied 7th Sep and still showing pending. I called up the MOM yesterday to expedite . Any idea how long does it take post following up with MOM. Mine is close to 12 weeks now.. Any advice ?
Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
Hi, I have got my PEP IPA today which is exactly 8 weeks after application submission.
2 calls were made to MOM last Thur and this morning. I was told to call back tomorrow to expedite the application if there's no update on the pass approval today.

Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
It's been 10 weeks, 2 cases to expedite, multiple chasers/reminders... still no outcome. Resigned already, can't apply for a regular EP, can't get the PEP go thru.. left at the mercy of MOM.
Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
Well, finally is approved. Application date 13/10/2020. 2 Cases (expedites) + 1 High Priority Note to the Officer. 10 Weeks~ +
I believe, the expedite is mostly about the agent that answers the phone. Some of them were really not interested to understand the problem and the situation, at the end of the day.. we all are humans.
I talked with a couple of agents, one of them actually gave me a lot of guidelines and was very kind.. today I believe this other agent took a little bit more time to help on my case.. who knows.. but it came thru a few hours later.

Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
I am not sure but since it is taking time and immigration consultant has not got back asking for additional supporting docs, I suspect the chances are good.
Don’t know if anyone in forum has comments?

Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
No response yet on my application. More than 3 months. Seems pretty delayed as if it is a PR application

Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
You mean it can take another 1-3 weeks? Is it based on your past experience?
When did you applied and got your PEP?

Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)
Mine was approved on Jan 13th. I applied end Sept 2020.
No reason provided for such long processing time. You just need to call MoM hotline and ask them to expedite and ask if any clarification required from applicant
