Hi
Anyone know of a good place to learn western boxing in Singapore (not kickboxing)? What are the fees like?

Thanks

hi i go to a boxing gym at mountbatten road. (near kallang MRT station)

i cant find the website so i cant show it to u.

the coach is a former boxer for singapore. Mr Syed Kadir.
he charges $35 every mth and you can go as many days as you want. His place is open Mon to Thurs (7pm to 930pm) and Sat (930am to 12 pm)

My normal workout there consists of skipping, shadow, heavy bag, and speed bag.

There is sparring session every thursday and its really fun. If you dun feel like getting hurt you can choose not to spar and nobody will force you. Sparring is strictly voluntary.

Personally i find the workout very satisfying and i hv lost q a few pounds there.

Mr Kadir also does private one-to-one lessons but of cos at a different rate.

my email is [email protected]. drop me smting if ur interested.

Good info.
Wondered about this myself.

Should this be under "Entertainment, Leisure, Sports"?

maneo,

I was debating the same thing. As I'm not the OP I don't know where his mind was at the time. He might have been looking at it from a fitness point of view as opposed to actually taking part in tournaments. Toss a coin?

I'll move it because most don't go to boxing gyms for exercise alone. Too many safe ways to do that!
