Market rates for live in maids

Trying to get a sense of live in maid rates these days. In searching various maid agencies, I’m noticing expat-oriented maids asking 800-900/month, while those with experience working for Chinese, Indian or local Singaporeans are asking for roughly 650-750. It seems the minimum these days is 600. Not sure of maximums but I would imagine they can go upwards to 1000 for a real star.

Also wondering how most families handle “allowances”. I have heard of some expat families giving a food allowance on top of the monthly rate. Anywhere from $200-400.

We are no longer on expat package so do need to be mindful of the budget.

Just wanted to take a survey of what you are all currently paying your maid.

Anyone have any inputs on market rates?

If not then how do we know if we are nearing herd immunity and thus closer to exiting the Circuit Breaker?
