LTVP Renewal questions

Hi All,

In December of 2017 i applied for PR after working here for 4,5 years (I'm married to a SC).
Currently i am 1,5 years on LTVP and previously i was working on S-pass.

My PR application has not been approved/denied yet but my LTVP is set to expire in 6 months so i can apply to renew that. Spoke to ICA and they mentioned i can renew my LTVP while my PR application is pending.

Questions

1) Is the LTVP renewal process the same as submitting a new LTVP?
2) How long would the renewal process take?
3) We did not do the pre-marriage assessment so the initial application took longer, will this still be the case for a renewal?

1. Yes
2. Few weeks to 6 months as you didnt have the Pre-Marriage Long-Term Visit Pass Application. But since you had LTVP before, chances are it wont take longer
