PR renewal for parents + PR new application for child

Postby Cindy123 » Sat, 07 Apr 2018 10:59 pm

Hi,

Could you please advise? For my spouse & me, PR renewal comes up in Nov. We have a child in LTVP whose PR we hope to get. What is the usual procedure like? Is it -

1) PR renewal of parents is a separate process; apply for child's PR before or after PR renewal for us (or)
2) Apply / include for child when applying for PR renewal for us?

Thanks in advance! Cheers..

Your REP Renewal and your child's PR application are 2 different applications and are not related to each other. During REP Renewal, you cannot include your child's new PR application

Thanks. Can the mother who is secondary PR (based on husband's primary PR) sponser the child's PR application? Is it allowed?
