Urgent: Assistant Needed for Management Research

Post by midnite » Thu, 24 Feb 2005 12:30 am

Hi all,

we are a group of final year Business Admin students from SIM-RMIT. We are required to conduct research on the topic of International Management and we would need to interview a foreign manager/leader/CEO from a MNC located in Singapore. The interview is to allow us to understand, analyze and evaluate the management style of the foreign manager and the management practices of his organization regarding the issue of cross-cultural management.

Ideally, we should be able to form a judgment on how well managed the organization is overall being managed (culturally) in area such as planning, leading, organizing, staffing and controlling.

We had approached bigger companies such as Shell and HP previously, however we could not be granted a chance to conduct this research. Some of the reasons given were either that they were too busy or they already had on-going research at the moment.

Therefore, we are still eagerly looking for a suitable manager/organization to conduct the research. We hope that if you are suitable and are willingly to participate in this research, please grant us this chance to learn from your experience of working in Singapore.

If you are interested to participate in our research, please send us an email at pcliang5 or contact us at 9743 6606.

Thanks for reading.
