Coming. Just have to wait it out. If not this time then the next (sometimes I believe they reject the first one just to find out if you really want it).

Great, thanks! Hoping for some good news soon. I've got a friend with a very similar profile to mine except he's only been in Singapore for about 2 years, applied after 1st year of working and got his approval in 6 months.

May I know when did your friend’s application be approved?

Hey, nightwind, didn't anybody tell you that there are not any set quotas? They left you out of the loop? Maybe it was deliberate if you believe it. So okay, just for you. Quotas are already filled for this year & next year as well.
Rather odd nick. Isn't nightwind a fart under the sheets?

to be fair the number of approvals does vary year by year depending how scared the PAP are of the popular revolt against Singapore being over crowded and how far out the next GE is.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or
http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

I've heard this one before. But I've also had friends who got their PRs after staying here for less than a year. Who knows what ICA really looks at. =(

thats the whole point , nobody really knows.
Which is how you stop tailored applications that all look the same just with the name changed.

Aside from just letting others who may be interested know? To annoy people like you, and it appears I managed to do that.

Well... I plan to take it but I asked my wife not to. That way if it has a negative effect one of us is left to look after the dreadful daughter.

Life restrictions will not end until we have either (a) herd immunity or (b) vaccine. Lock-down measures merely prolongs achieving the former (a).

There are obviously some hidden hosts in the community still. Even countries with zero cases are reporting new cases popping up occasionally.
