What I would suggest which is the most economical way is to get one of your relatives in Singapore to come in person to the CMPB NS Registration Office. Talk to the supervisor in person not the front line clerks. You will get a detailed explanation on bond, banker's guarantees , medical checkup , the whole nine yard

Don't have to make any appointment. Talk to the ladies there. Inquire as much about your concerns. Even if you do know after your research here, listen as rules do change. Not much but it might pertain to your predicament
