Just sharing, this is my 4th time PR application, submitted 10 months ago (June 2018), current status: that dreaded "pending".
My 3rd application was on 2017, and got rejected after 9 months of waiting. 2nd one was automatically rejected after I switch job during pr application. 1st one was rejected after 6 months.
3 close friends with similar profile recently just got approved after just 5 months!!! which makes it even more difficult.
Waiting patiently...

When one has the correct nationality with the correct ethnicity, it's no-brainer, except the waiting time.
Most here don't have the correct nationality OR ethnicity therefore all the hypertension.

Are you single? If yes, chances are not good at all. No roots. You could move back to India tomorrow. Or Australia. Or anywhere else. Maybe not you, but historically, single people are less likely to stay.

Hi all, just to share. I logged on to the ICA website and my status has changed to approved! Applied 28th Jan, approved in around 4 months. First attempt.
I’m a 25y/o Malaysian lady, working in Singapore since 2015 in Sales & Marketing. Applied 11 months in with my current company. My annual salary is around $35k/annum.

Don't be cute. I've had several female friends, single & married, earning a lot more than me that got rejected.
I'm just sharing, since this
is a forum for sharing, no?

What were the ethnicities of those who were rejected? While you didn't mention it, other than the fact that you were Malaysian, I daresay you are ethnic Chinese and working on an S pass at the very least and more than likely, you are working on an EP as the EP salary ranges for Malaysians having a degree are lower than for the rest of the world. So, as singaporeflyer posted, I'd also be curious what their ethnicities and nationalilties are. That would be of immense help to the other readers.
