I got my IPA letter the same day as the change of the status online. The status changed on 14th June, but I saw the letter dated 11th June. So they probably sent the letter first before changing the status.

The date on the letter is not really relevant insomuch as it's just the date the computer generated it. It was maile in a batch mailing probably sever days later. Look at any letter your received from the government, it only take 2 days max (if they mail at the close of business) for you to get mail but government mail is usually 4 or 5 days after the date of the letter (when you actually receive it).

PR Approved!
Applied on 20 Sep. In principal letter stated 29 June, while the online system only showed “approved” on 3 July!

Hey guys, just to update you one of the issue i had. The IPA letter indicated if you have done HIV test and Chest x-ray within 6 months and you not required to do a new one, and i had my Epass renewed in recently so i didnt go to do any test. While i headed to my appointment, the ICA officer told me that MOM only updated my HIV test result but not the Xray,so i have to get one by the same day if not need to re-schedule another day, and some guys next to my counter also had the same issue and we ran together to a clinic at Aljunied and paid 60sgd for it,but usually i just need to pay about 13sgd for it in tampines. So, better to have some test before you head to your appointment, it is not worth to waste three hours+ 60sgd for it.
