Re: Acquiring EP
Hi yes I tried it already, however the job that I was offered was not available, so I choose "None of the Above"
After I submit, it said that I can get S pass, not EP, but surely this is not the correct one right? they have to check background, work experience, and the company that offered me the job right?

Even though the MOM site state 3600 as a minimum for Employment Pass , I think reality is currently a lot higher than that.Airlift wrote:Hi yes I tried it already, however the job that I was offered was not available, so I choose "None of the Above"

So Spass may well be the only pass available to your company for you.
This comes with limits regarding quotas , I think 5 Singapore/PR = 1 Spass
Life is short, paddle harder!!

Hi,
upon interviewing, I can get around 3900 - 4100 mark, so surely they knew that I can get EP pass right? and also what's the salary range for S pass? and how long does this process takes usually to know whether they accept the EP pass or not?

Did you google or not? Please read from the MOM Website. It is very clearly written there.

You may qualify for a S Pass. Very unlikely to get EP for the salary mentioned. With 3-4 years of experience, they expect the salary to be high to match with the year of experience.
Re: Acquiring EP
Hi, i was offered a job as well in Singapore and my employer had confidence in applying a EP for me although my pay would not commensurate the minimum criteria for an EP.
It has been so far about 7 working days and its still pending. I guess i’ll have to continue to wait but there is no reason to worry just yet right?
Cause i really hope to start work. Thank you!!

Hi,
Yes I have read, to earn EP pass, the company need to offer at least $3600
Based on the interview, they offered me around $3900 - $4100, hence can earn EP pass right? and they told me also they will apply EP Pass for me
I read on the MOM that S pass is >$2600
How long is the process usually and based on skills, interview, education there shouldn't be any problem right?

Re: Acquiring EP
Who said? 3600 is for fresher and not for 3-4 years experienced person. for 3-4 years atleast 5K is needed for EP.Airlift wrote:Hi,

FYI, there are already many people and locals employed in digital marketing. So, there has to be a compeling need for your company to hire a foreigner, which has to be proved to MOM.
Did you read the link in my previous post? It has details on how long to process, etc.
Re: Acquiring EP
Ah all right I see, thank you for the information
So as per you said if 3-4 years exp the minimum EP is $5000
And their offer to me was around $3900 - $4100, so I will be counted as S pass ?

I asked you where are you from? Depending on this you have a very small chance to qualify for an EPAirlift wrote:Ah all right I see, thank you for the information
