Hi polly!

For new and cheap computers, accessories goto Sim Lim Square or Funan IT Mall. Both places have a few levels of shops selling PC stuffs. If you have the time, compare the prices from the different shops and I am sure you can get a good bargain!

For 2nd hand PC, you can try in the classifieds at http://www.hardwarezone.com ... May be able to get a good deal, please be careful to check the conditon though.

Prices ranges from below $1k to a few thousand for brand new set, depending on the configurations.

For 2nd hand ones it varies alot. I suggest getting a new set since PC prices in Singapore is the lowest around the region.

Hope the above helps :)

Buy a new PC...

Seriously the prices of computers here is such that you can get a really good cheap PC from Sim Lim and it should last for two years without being 'old' 8)

If you want a second hand also go to Sim Lim and ask the computer shop owners as they sometimes do trades with people upgrading. Trick is to hit as many of the computer stores there as possible and haggle with all of them - Best bet would be a 30% drop in the original price given.

Hi "Commander",

I'm looking to get a great deal on a 3D-able laptop when going to Singapore. I was looking at the Dell M60 with 1.7Ghz Proc+, 1GB RAM, 7200 RPM HD, 128MB Quaddro 1000 GPU etc.,

Could you make me a good deal?

Please let me know via email: kaj@bbconsulting.se

Thanks alot,

Kaj

nah, why bother? He was advertising so I had already deleted the solicitation post. Just left the other one. You are asking them to use common sense. :P
