Smartly MBA / EMBA - Valuable?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has done the Smartly online MBA or EMBA before - completed it or heard about it? I've seen some advertisements for it, and it's pretty cheap so I'm wondering if it has any value. I've been thinking about doing an MBA for a while, and this is based in the USA. Thanks.

MBA's only have value based on the brand name and networking opps behind them.

Harvard MBA or GTFO. Yes, it's about 300k even if you can get in but the people I know who have them have made that back in the first few years.

As PNGMK said, a lot of MBA's are about prestige. However, if the course is decent, you can gain a lot of knowledge about corporate financial management and business operations which can serve you well simply because you know more. I had a chemical engineer friend who did an MBA... it gave him the tools to rise within one rung of the top of a large engineering firm... before he was pushed out.

Don't bother. MBA is only valuable to the university provider's circle. Harvard is most far-reaching. If you take, say, University of Rotterdam's MBA programme for example, it is only useful for the Netherlands - no need to talk about UK and other parts of Europe.

INSEAD is the best in Singapore - and I am only saying this with a pinch of salt.
