Hello Guys,

Posting after a long time. We are searching for a new place to rent near lakeside MRT. We are going to visit Lakeside apartments. This property is about 50 years old and I read it could go en block this year. How long does it take from the time en bloc starts to the time tenant has to vacate? We would like to stay in a place for atleast 3 years, so I want to estimate whether there is risk of us having to vacate sooner.

You won't last three years if it is successful. Shortest enbloc is about a year, longest if they get 80% will be 18 months.

Thanks, we didn't like the place. It was too huge for a family of 3 and in places the house showed its age.
