Hello all,
I was since recently considering doing a fulltime Masters Degree in Singapore to improve my job prospects.
I, however have a little child, who I want to bring with me. Could I get some kind of visa or permit for my child to come with me? (Long Term visit pass...etc?). Or can the university get some permit for the child so it’s allowed to stay in SG as long i am a student? As I have relatives here, they would take care of my child while I am at university or I would look for a kindergarten.
Looking forward to any replies
Thank you

Full-time student wanting to bring child
Re: Full-time student wanting to bring child
You need a students pass for the child or possibly a dependents pass maybe possible.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Thank you for your reply.
So can I just register my child for a local kindergarten once I got accepted for the Masters programme so it gets a student pass?
And how about the dependent pass? Will the university sponsor my child to come on a dependent pass? Who can I ask to know for sure about this ...the university?
Thank you for your help

Re: Full-time student wanting to bring child
You only need one. IF you can get a student pass (no guarantee) then that's all you need. Talk to the Uni about whether they will assist with a DP for the child.Natisu wrote:Thank you for your reply.
