You need to understand that there are multiple tax jurisdictions in this scenario and satisfying one does not mean the other is satisfied.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Exactly right, and Indonesia is one of the most tax unfriendly countries SE Asia. Unlike others which are territorial for the most part, Indonesia has a worldwide, residency based system, which kicks in once you stay 183 days in a 12 month period. I believe there is a tax treaty between Singapore and Indonesia which might come into play, but you’d need a cross border tax pro to determine weather and how it applies to your situation.

Indeed, there is a tax treaty.

There is a clear set of rules that will force you to be a resident of one country or the other, and thus, be subject to that country's tax rules. See page 6.
