ROM in Singapore or Malaysia?

Hello everyone,

We need some advice here, me and my bf are SPRs now and I am pending approval status for my SG Citizenship application.
We are planning to do our ROM end of this year but is anyone able to advise if it makes a difference registering our marriage under Singapore or Malaysia law? Besides the cost and process involved, Would registering our marriage in Singapore provide more benefits to our kids in the future since we will hold a SG marriage certificate?
