need sponser for my maid

Post by Guest IV » Fri, 18 Feb 2005 1:45 pm

I'm trying to see if I can get someone to sponser a filipina who is presently on a tourist visa. I have an EP myself, but for a few reasons don't want to sponser, although I would pay the bond and levy. Apparently this arragement is rather common in sg. Thanks.

:?: who in the right mind would want to sponsor a complete stranger who is a maid of a complete stranger, who doesn't want to even sponsor that maid him/herself??

Actually a lot do, becasue:
-some want a maid, but not to live in, this way they get rid of her at nite
-some do it for money, like a visa scam, maybe $1 or 2k a year
-some do thru the goodness of their heart
-some do it to get a free babysitter/part-time cleaner
-some do it beacause they think the syster here is unjust
