Just request for additional docs.
Did your wife's application appeared as "Rejected" for a day, or probably a few hours in online EP application status?

I did not see there was a "rejected" status.
Btw, what additional information MOM requested for your case?

I saw, as I checked everyday haha.
I am not sure. HR didn't ask anything from me. They just told me that don't worry, they will sort out everything.

Hi,
May i know do you have any update with your cases?
I have my EP apply on mid Dec 2017 but have been rejected and appeal since Jan 2018.
Today is the second weeks of appeal and looking forward to just give me a result outcome.
Hopefully, this or next week to have the outcome... is so torturing on the waiting period.

Saw this info. :O Worry is this the maybe the reason why EP being rejected?
In an unannounced change, the Ministry of Manpower has added several significant new questions to the Employment Pass online application form that must be answered by companies sponsoring foreign workers.
The new questions were noticed on the Employment Pass Online application Friday, Nov. 10. Employers must now answer the following additional questions under Section F – Job Advertisement

Thank you for the info, it is really helpful.
Yes, it may be possible that the new implementation causes the process to slow down.
I found my position advertised on job bank for more than a month, but with very little applicants. The total number of applicants is probably less than the total amount of vacancies offered.

This isn't new. It's been part of the criteria for several months now.

Thanks for your input.
Since which month did they start? Cause this article is November, they actually started it much earlier?

Sometime in October, at least that what my HR exec said when it happened. As her HR Manager I've no reason to doubt her. This is January. That's actually more than a couple of months (3 or 4).
