Hi There,
I have recently got an offer from one of the Oil and gas companies Small size and they filed my EP application with MOM on 03 Jan 2018 and it still shows pending.
My background as follows,
1) Bachelors degree graduate with honors
2) Having more than 8 years experience
3) Served In Singapore for 3 years
4) Offered pay is 6.2k
My last EP renewal with my previous employer took only 3 working days to get approval
Anybody else having similar delay or any guidance on when I may get it or will be positive outcome

There are many delays recently due to vetting, etc. No one here can say if it will be positive and also when you will know the outcome.

OP is on the cusp of the newer more stringent EP criteria. He's borderline EP but strong S pass and if the employer didn't also check the 'S pass to be considered' box he might find himself between a rock and a hard place. MOM says if that box isn't ticked to be considered for a S pass as well (at the time of the application), then if, under the newer criteria, you fail the muster, you will be SOL as you cannot go back an reapply for the same company for the S pass should you still want to work here.
