WHP process

Hello everyone; I'm a French student coming to Singapore to do my internship. I've found my internship in September and apply for the WHP around October. I received my IPA letter at the end of October and it is written that my IPA letter is valid until 5 February 2018.

I will arrive in Singapore mid January (haven't bought my tickets yet but I will come around the 15th January) and it is written that I can either ask my employment agent to login to Employment Pass online to ask for my WHP card to be issued or make an appointment online to complete the registration process. I wanted to know if obtaining an appointment with the Employment Pass Services Centre/asking for my WHP card to be issued online via my employment agent was fast. I am scared that my IPA expired before I can obtain my IPA card.
