Construction materials supply to Singapore

Hi guys, need some experience and help on this.

I’m currently a EP holder working in Singapore. I know a China friend who have supply of cheap tiles from all the way in China.
I was doing all the researching of how to start my own business for the supply thing. The business set up was fine however I got blurred on the supply part.
What I want to ask is how the process of supply thing from China to Singapore? The duty stamp, the custom account activation, the insurance or warrantee and the cost...
