Thanks for your sharing. I thought it was as you descrip. But when I went to National Gallery to visit exhibition (I visit every exhibition ), I talked to the ticket seller. He said he was the Malaysian when he was asking my status to decide which ticket price I can buy. That's why I hope it maybe possbile.Addadude wrote:I don't exactly have insider knowledge, other than knowing a couple of acquaintances who have worked for the Ministry of Culture and the National Gallery. One was an Indian PR who worked on a contact basis. One was a Malaysian Chinese PR who subsequently became a Singaporean and has a very good career there. From my commercial dealings with the Ministry, I got the impression that only PRs and citizens are likely to get these kinds of roles.
Thanks for advice. I think that is the last way to try since it takes a long time to realize with possibility. It maybe good for the amateur. But for the professtional post, I think it doesn't work. Anyway, I may try if I have no choice.Strong Eagle wrote:You should consider volunteering with Friends of the Museum, a group that organizes tours and docents for several museums in Singapore.
