I'm not sure how credible this is, but I heard from a friend that approval rates tend to be higher if you submit your application at the beginning of the year. Conversely, chances are apparently lower if you submit your application at the end of the year...
Thoughts?

Any month that is on your calendar. It's a rolling approval window.
