MANILA FLIGHT - E TICKET NOT ALLOWED?

Post by martincymru » Tue, 05 Dec 2017 2:30 pm

Sg Airlines:

"You don't need a printed ticket to fly. However, if you are travelling to and from Manila or the USA, you must present a printed copy of this booking confirmation or your e-ticket receipt to the check-in counter staff at the airport."

Are they serious ?

Why ?

What if you forget?

Where are you seeing that? I've got a business trip to the US booked in January and it's not been mentioned by the travel agent. Been a while since I've been to Manila but I've never printed out SQ tickets for anywhere.

One has to show an e-ticket and passport to enter the checkin hall at Manila airport. But it's okay to show it phone. Paper print used to be needed till a few years ago.
