EP Validity Start Date Query

Hello People

I am unable to find the answer to this question after a lot of online search. Here is it for you all:
Say EP application was done in Oct, and IPA is issued in January month and is valid until June(6 months) . But the applicant wants to enter Singapore in April and do the EP formalities by visiting MoM center etc.
What will be the Validity Dates on EP - duration is 2 years but what start/end dates?

i. Date when Applicant reports to MoM in April & applies for EP card (April + 2 years)
ii. Date when EP was applied by employer - (Oct + 2 years)
iii. Date when IPA was issued as a notice of approval - (Jan + 2 years)

Your EP is valid from the date of entry into the country.

Let's say you enter into the country on April 4, 2018. After arriving, you go pick up your EP. Your effective start date is April 4. For a two year EP, your end date is April 3, 2020.
