Dear friends,
Our 6yr old daughter currently attends the French Lycee de Singapour (LFS) and we are happy with the school for now but are thinking about potentially moving her to another International School in a 1yr or 2. Can anyone please share advices and own experience of transferring their child from LFS to UWC, Tanglin or Dulwich?
Thanks all

I have a French colleague. His 4 kids used to attend LFS but after staying here a few years and deciding to call SG home, he transferred all 4 to local schools. Eldest started at Sec1 and youngest started at P2. He said its the best decision in his life (fees are like a a fraction of what he used to pay).

The kids loved it too. They now feel more belonging to SG and have local friends. Education-wise, he mentioned that the kids learn better and have better foundation than when they were at LFS (all 4 are at ACS).

I think if you got money to splurge, UWC is probably the best choice. Most of the top tier local schools (which are tough for foreigners to get into) like Raffles, Hwa Chong, MGS, ACS etc.. are probably better and cheaper for your kids!
