Playgroup n1 central

Post by danman1234 » Tue, 14 Nov 2017 1:20 pm

Hello, My and my wife will move next month to Singapore with 2 children.
One of them needs to go to a good playgroup.

Could someone please advice me which school is good and not too pricey?

Thanks a lot for all the information.

Regards,

Danny Gopie

There are lots of good childcare in the Central area (I assume you are referring to Newton/Novena area?) Anyway, all across SG there are many good pre-schools. Costs depends on location and brand.

If you are looking for schools with similarly expat/foreign children in their mix, the costs tends to be higher. If you don't mind the pre-schools the locals go to, it will be a lot cheaper (not that they are not good, but because the locals have more choices).

Pre-school (3hours+) between $200-300 to $1500 per month depending on brand. Full day ones costs between $800-$2k+. For me, I don't really expect the child to learn much in N1/N2 and below. Rather, the school should inculcate a sense of curiosity and good values.
