I'm on the enbloc sales committee for our condo. It's extremely disheartening to listen to the potential sales agents pitches - they show dozens of pictures of buildings I remember well for the last 30 years and how they were sold and converted into 700 ft2 shoe boxes...

Almost everything here is built for the short term , whats the point of building something that could last for 100 years when there is a pretty good chance it wont make 50 years.
