PR renewal/extension after 5/10 years

Post by guest#100 » Wed, 16 Feb 2005 10:17 am

Can the experienced members enlighten me on the below concern?

I got PR few months back. PR is initially granted for 5 or 10 years (5 years in my case), then need to renew/extension upon expiry.
1. How is the possibility of NOT getting an extension after 5 years???
2. What are the possible causes for that??
3. How common is such rejection? Do you know such persons?

Thanks in advance.

If you don't have a job when it's renewal time, your PR will not be renewed. This will also happen to you if you do something that Lee Kuan Yew & company don't like.

So keep your head low and make money for the company, and all will be well
