Hi guys,
My wife and I will be moving to Singpore from Melbourne. My company is paying to move my entire household and I need to know the following:
1. What's the average size of a master bedroom? this will determine the furniture we will take. We currently have a king bed with side tables and a tall boy. We can easily place an additional queen size blow up bed in the bedroom if we needed to. Hoping I can find the same space.
2. Our diet is a bit restricted (no shellfish, pork and limited red meat) so we are planning on buying a few times to take with us, for example (spelt milk, spelt flour, vegan protein powder, etc). Would there be any import restrictions?
3. I was told poppy seeds is a no no but are there any other restrictions on food items, etc. We have a few bottles of wine (nothing expensive) but I'm told by our shipper that we will have to pay duty on them.
Thanks in advance.
Wayne

Bedrooms are definitely tighter on space - if you might be able to rent a 1 or 2 bed
condo with a big master room.
Importing food is generally ok. I would not bother with wine and duty It's almost on par price wise here anyways these days. Leave it with friends to evaporate.

Definitely will not be able to fit a king and queen in the room, furniture wise I think it would be cheaper to just buy / look for fully furnished units in sg?
There're plenty of houses here that provide furniture so you can skip on bringing those

Hi Kaitme,
I don't plan to put two beds in a room. Just need to know if the rooms are big enough for a King Bed. The reference to a queen bed is for the space left after the King has been placed in the room.
