Hello,
My appointment for submission of PR application is coming up.
I'm the "main applicant", and we're applying as a family, with my spouse.
Should both of us be present for the SUBMISSION of the application (not the interview), or my spouse doesn't need to be there ?
The ICA FAQ doesn't seem to address this question, and I wasn't too successful with Google on this topic.
Thanks !

When I submitted my application, the officer verified that the identify documents (passport, birth certificates, educational certificates etc.) for each of us. My wife and children had to be present so the officer could verify our passports.
I believe there are other submission methods available, but my experience for the appointment suggests all applicants need to be present.
There is also a support line you can call at ICA to ask questions that aren't immediately obvious from the FAQ. My experience is they are very helpful.

There is no formal interview for Singapore PR ... It is just the document submission and they ask very basic questions .. and yes.. all applicants have to be there for their document submission.

When the officer sees a need for interview, it does happen rarely and it is not on the same day when you submit the application.

I applied for pr as a family and went by myself to submit for the three of us. No questions asked they accepted the documents. According to me only the main applicant is needed.

And when another guy collecting the forms decided to see the family..
Singapore officers don't nit pick..
But unless the rest of the family needs VIP security, what's more important than going along for this important step?

From what I remember when I called to check if all family members were required they said only the main applicant.
Again call and check.

Thanks all for your advice, I just called ICA, and only the main applicant needs to be present.

I wish I had called to check; I spent a lot of time entertaining 2 small children waiting for my number to pop up at the head of the queue!

Walk in to EPSC and explain your circumstances. They will likely let you walk in, but you will wait for a long time before being seen.
