You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or
http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

I was also thinking the same thing!

Well to be honest as a former postman in Australia I find the postal system to be an interesting, if antiquated, example of one of the worlds earliest and best organized systems (fun fact the telephone system is considered the worlds oldest and largest machine - a guy in Alaska can make a bell ring in Australia). Imagine the magic of sticking a letter in a box 100 years ago knowing it will actually get to it's destination?
In the early days GPO's were the actual geographical city centre. In most Australian cities and towns the main Post Office was where street numbers started - the closer you were to the GPO the lower your street number. We were taught as postmen (no women in those days) to keep the location of the GPO in mind if trying to find a lost street number (face your back to the GPO - left side is odd, right side is even - the further away you go from GPO the higher the number should be). I find the Singapore GPO's location to be disturbingly off centre.
