Paper still matters; printing facilities?

Post by cattleherder » Fri, 29 Sep 2017 2:14 pm

Apparently, Singapore may be somewhat conservative when it comes to electronic documents or "soft copy", despite the abundance of mobile gadgets. More than once or twice I was requested to bring a paper print out.

I realise that printers today are dirt-cheap, but I really don't want to litter my new apartment with a bulky piece of equipment I will use only occasionally. Is there a facility that can be found throughout the island where I can print stuff easily?

Internet cafes, SingPost, etc.?

Katong shopping centre is best (much cheaper than other places but having to get there), but there are places all over the island.

And what kind of shop handles this in Katong? "Internet cafe", "business services", "printing shop"?

I am talking about an occasional couple of pages.

Thats why I said getting there may not be worth it for only a couple of pages, but it is half the price of China Town Centre.
