You should try Pulau Ujong if you are a nature lover.

Stay somewhere along the downtown line or central. Houses may be expensive, but it'll be really convenient. If the houses are really too expensive, a good alternative will be Bukit Panjang (where I stay). Convenient & not that expensive

I second that! Yishun is filled with so many wonderful things. from the weird(Someone bringing a cow home) to the good(have you heard of the famously fried chicken stall operating in Yishun park Hawker centre?). I mean, Yishun is like the sub-category of the Uniquely Singapore. So. No doubt Yishun is one of the places that you should consider.

This is called isolating themselves man. They are like in their own world.
But I won't discredit them from being so self-contained now. The two areas used to be like a mini 3rd world country in SG which have well developed into a mini 1st world country SG. Good for poeple who lives there.

If you can afford, town area will be the best since it is the centre and you can pretty much get to anywhere from town. Alternatively, the downtown line is a pretty good place as well

I like East Coast due to the lower level of humidity compared to others.
