PR application rejected

Post by lowai » Sun, 24 Sep 2017 10:20 pm

Applied for PR in April and got rejection mail this week. I understand that my stay in SG is probably too short when I submitted the application (only 8 months), but is it ever possible to get PR nowadays while being single? If I reapply in 2 years with no improvement in family status, what are my chances like? Having read several posts in this forum, my impression is that having a family based in SG is important in PR application.

- Nationality: PRC
- Sex: Male
- Age: 31
- Salary: >8k/month
- Job: assistant professor at a local university

Thanks!

If you applied with 3 year NOA, your chances improve

That's my 2 cents

Even singles who have stayed longer in SG with a good job have got their PR after 3-4 years of stay in SG. It is always not necessary that you must have a family for getting PR approved.
